KMF Young Engineer Competition - 22nd June

Last week a group of our year 10's took part in the KMF young engineer of the year competition. It all began back in October when our team of young engineers attended the launch day, where they were briefed and received their build kits, for the hard work to come.

Our fantastic STMCA team, made up of Dan, Safwan, Hassan, Jeslin, Jai, Jacob, Kuba and Mikael, then set about the hard work of building, testing and improving their design over the next 8 months, giving up much of their own time to make progress.

Lourdes 2017 - 15th June

As ever, it was a pleasure to spend the week in the company of our young people exploring and growing in their faith, and it has been fantastic to see how much the experience has touched and changed each of the young people who came with our group from St Thomas More, but also from the other school groups we shared a coach and hotel with – St John Fisher and St Margaret Ward.

Cricket Success - 6th June

A massive well done to our cricket team, who won the U14's city cricket competition before half term. The boys won every single one of their games, against St Margaret Ward, Co-operative Academy, St Josephs and Trentham.

They all worked extremely hard and we are very proud of their efforts and upstanding achievement.

E Safety Letter - 25th May

Dear parent/guardian,

I write to you regarding information that we have received about certain social media platforms which we feel you should be made aware of.  New social media platforms are emerging all of the time and therefore we understand that, as a parent, it is extremely difficult trying to keep up-to-date with which ones are safe and appropriate for your child.

We have been made aware of the certain platforms that we feel it would be beneficial for you to know about.

Lourdes Fundraising Events - 11th May

We had a wonderful morning on Wednesday 10th May as we enjoyed an homemade slice of cake and a cup of coffee. We had a number of the local community that came and joined us for a relaxing morning here at STMCA. Cakes were baked by staff and for that we are very grateful. We finished our morning by praying the Rosary in the Chapel to mark the month of Mary. We raised just under £100 and we thank all of those who came to support us and continue to support our work her, especially our Lourdes fundraising.

Godspell Performances - 3rd March

Last week, we presented ‘Godspell’ for two evening performances, both nights to a fully packed out hall. Both audiences were excellent, giving all the performers the confidence to perform to the best of their ability. The Music, Drama and Dance kept everyone entertained throughout the performance, whilst featuring many of Jesus' parables, as well as the story of His own journey to the cross.
