At St Thomas More we have an extensive retreat programme, with retreat experiences offered to every year group in school.
Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and Sixth Form have the chance to visit various centres on a residential retreat - where they stay over for two or three nights, while Y11 have a day retreat at Alton Castle.
Going on a retreat offers students the chance to take a step back from their everyday lives, to explore the Catholic faith in a fun and informal way, to make new friends and experience new things. Retreats also offer team building experiences and are tailored to the age of each group - making them relevant to the problems and challenges faced in the lives of our students.
If your child is interested in going on their year groups retreat, please speak to Megan or Mary. We also try our best to help people who struggle to afford to pay for retreats, so please don't let this be a barrier.
